What To Expect Attending Mcsa Boot Camp Training
If you are a computer technology expert but do not have your Microsoft certification, he may be thinking about attending MCSA boot camp training. By attending a boot camp, you can quickly earn your MCSA certification without having to spend months in school. This can be a real cost savings as well as a time savings. Once you have your MCSA certification, you can then go on and earn your MCSE certification.
One advantage to attending an MCSA boot camp to earn your certification is that you are immersed in Microsoft training. There are many other options to earn your MCSA certification, such as self learning through books, online, or attending classes part-time. The problem with these types of classes is trying to find the time to schedule these. Trying to learn through books or online can be difficult, especially if you're trying to do this after work or worse yet, during work hours. It is very hard to concentrate when you know you are needed to solve problems on the job.
By attending MCSA boot camp, you get away from all of these distractions, and can focus and concentrate on earning your certification. The days are long, and the classes are grueling, but you will learn all about Microsoft environments, networks, and operating systems.
I attended an MCSE boot camp in Florida. This was about 1000 miles away from home and just what I needed to get away to be able to concentrate on earning a certification. I knew that if I attended a boot camp close to home, a cell phone would be ringing in my e-mail inbox would be full of tech support requests. But by traveling far away, and cutting off the cell phone and e-mail, I was able to better concentrate all my studies. My boot camp started early in the morning, usually around 7 a.m., with breakfast with the rest of my fellow classmates. Boot camp was held in a hotel that featured a restaurant and several conference rooms. Our computer lab and training room was in one of the large conference rooms. This room was large enough to hold 30 students. We each had our own PC and our own room in the hotel. After a hearty, all you can eat, breakfast, we would be in the classroom at 8 a.m.. Our instructor started class promptly at eight. We usually spent about an hour and a half to two hours our first topic in the morning, and then we would break for about 30 minutes. After a break, we would have class right up until lunchtime. The entire class would head back to the restaurant for lunch. We usually had about one hour for lunch. After lunch it was back to the classroom. We spent the entire afternoon, usually up until five or six o'clock in the afternoon doing more class work and studying. By 6 p.m. we were usually dismissed for dinner. Dinner thankfully, was on our own, and we usually had at least an hour or two for dinner. This afforded us the opportunity to escape for just a short while. After dinner, the classroom was left open all night long so we could study. The next day, the schedule would repeat itself. Every now and then, we would have a break from the classroom studying. It was to take an exam. The exams were scheduled occasionally for three hours each. The total cost to attend my MCSA boot camp training was several thousand dollars. This cost covered most of my expenses. I did, of course, have to pay my own airfare and my own evening meals. But all other expenses were covered. This included the cost of the hotel room, breakfast, lunch, all classroom materials, exam costs, and even a free shirt at the end of training. I would highly recommend MCSA boot camp training if you are trying to earn your certification from Microsoft. It is one of the best, and cost-effective ways, turn your certification. There are very few distractions since you are in class all day long. This allows you to concentrate on the task at hand which is earning your Microsoft certification. |
